In English we have looked at information books about China and made money envelopes with a message on for a family member. 

In Maths we look at ‘which number comes before?’ when counting. We have continued to play games and used number tracks to show our understanding.

In Phonics we have been singing the nursery rhyme ‘1, 2 Buckle my Shoe.’ We sang the song fast, slow, loud and quiet. We identified rhyming words and tapped the syllables in words. We listened for the ‘ng’ sound in words and could sort picture cards into words that contained the ‘ng’ sound and words containing other sounds. .

In Learning Means the World we have continued our topic of ‘Come Fly With Me’ by visiting China! We learnt about the Terracotta Army and continued to find out information about the Panda. We have explored our cutting skills with scissors and slippery pasta and tried hard to copy some Chinese writing with paints.
