Welcome back, we hope everyone had a restful Easter break.
In PE we have started to learn tennis skills. We began by practising our throwing skills. Scarlet G said "I really enjoyed playing hot potato with my group. It was a bit tricky!" We discovered that the real skill was keeping our eye on the ball at all times!
Our new RE unit is all about Hinduism. We learnt the names of the three deities that make up the Trimurti. "I liked learning about the deities because it was really interesting." said Aylar. Ethan particularly enjoyed learning about the roles of each deity.
In Spanish we have begun to learn the days of the week. There is a very catchy song to help us to learn them so listen out for the children singing it at home!
We are revisiting fractions in Maths, and started by adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. The children are already wowing us!
The children made us so proud at our Easter service on Thursday. Their behaviour was exemplary and their singing was joyous. Kai and Maya both said they loved all the singing. Darcie's favourite part was listening to Matt's talk. Our Worship Warriors Scarlett S and Scarlett-Anne H both had important roles to play. They told us they had mixed feelings of happiness, excitement and a little bit of nervousness. We think they should both feel really proud of what a super job they did.
