This week we arrived back to find all our chairs had vanished! We had to write persuasive letters to get our chairs back. Lizzy said it was fun to begin with, and then it started to get frustrating as it is difficult to write when not sat on a chair! 

In Maths, we have started a new unit on fractions. We have been learning about what makes a whole number and also been partitioning mixed numbers. Sophie thinks it was tricky to begin with, but it is getting easier now we are working through the unit. 

In LMTW, we have been continuing on our science topic 'May the force be with you'. We have been looking at magnetic fields and using iron filings so we can see the magnetic field around a magnet. 

In RE, we finished our learning about why Christians call the day Jesus died Good Friday by writing poems reflecting on how Christians might feel on this day. Emily said she enjoyed bringing all her learning together to write the poem.
