On Tuesday afternoon, we were treated to a picnic in Spa Gardens followed by a fun swim at the Jack Laugher Centre in Ripon. It was amazing! To stand back and watch the children letting their hair down and having the time of their lives was such a privilege. Their behaviour was exemplary throughout - well done Litton Class and Year 6! 

We have also enjoyed doing lots of artwork for our Wizard of Oz show. The children have shown such detail and care in their drawings; we cannot wait to see the final results - you will be able to see some of these as they will form the backdrop for many of our scenes in the show. 

The show is really coming together now. The children have really taken on board advice around projecting their voice and using big movements on stage. We are now starting to try on costumes - if you have been asked to bring something in, please make sure this comes in as soon as possible in a labelled carrier bag. If you are unsure, please contact a member of the Year 6 team who can help.
