We have had such a busy week with assessments again. It is wonderful to continue to see the incredible progress that all children are making in their learning. 

Aside from assessments, we have been enjoying the dry weather and have been able to conduct different investigations. We have been looking at the difference between hurricanes and tornados in our Learning Means the World topic of In Your Element. We then took to the skies and investigated air resistance, aerodynamics and how adaptions to the plane affect the distance travelled. 

In English, we have completed our writing of Haikus and have created wonderfully expressive and descriptive poems in just 17 short syllables.
