We have started this week of being immersed in our Wizard of Oz production. 

Isabella said that she really enjoys practising the songs. 

Zack said he finds it hard practising his 72 lines but is working hard at memorising them!  

Oscar said that it's fun. 

In English, we are working on our narrative writing and creating dialogue for the film we are studying, Paraphernalia. We are focussing on time adverbials, fronted adverbials, using speech correctly and engaging the reader. 

In Maths, we have completed our work on pie charts and have moved on to looking at quadrants. We are focussing on plotting coordinates and working out where vertices of shapes would fall on a quadrant. 

In RE, we researched Christians who are scientists and explored how science and Christianity can work alongside and against each other. 

Our PE focus this half of the term is Athletics and Cricket. We are going to start extra karate lessons at the Karate Dojo in Ripon. 

Finally, our picture for the week is one that we have submitted to the Ripon Gazette as our leavers picture!
