Although Christmas break is quickly approaching, there is no slowing down in Wharfe! We had an invasion of elves last Friday to celebrate Elf Day and the Christmas sparkle, jumpers and costumes filled the classroom with festive cheer. 

This week we have started looking at Christmas stories in English, with a focus on adverbs, fronted adverbials and relative clauses. In Maths we have been adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators and, in Learning Means the World, we are wrapping up our topic Wars of the World by creating a large display presentation about World War 1 or World War 2.
