What a fabulous week we have had in the sunshine!
This week we have started our new book, 'The Disgusting Sandwich'. Melissa said 'At the start of the book, the badger was looking inside the bin at the park because he was hungry'. The sandwich goes on a journey, getting more and more dirty and disgusting.
In maths we have been learning about fractions. Logan says 'We have been learning about what is equal and unequal'. Anna said 'we have learnt the symbol of half (1/2). We know that that means 1 part of 2 equal groups'.
Our Learning Means the World topic this half term is 'Going Wild!'. George told us 'We have made a presentation on computers. We chose an animal and used the presentation to share lots of new facts.' We were also learning about what it meant to be alive, and what has never been living. John shared 'We know a pebble has never been alive because it cannot breathe.'
In RE, we finished off our learning about the Creation story. We designed and painted pebbles to say thank you to someone as a gift. Tymur said 'We made beautiful pebbles, and they all had different patterns on them!'.
