We have come back to school after half term with a bang! 

In English, we have been looking at 'The first poetry book'. We have been exploring what a poem is, and what it needs to include. We have even learnt about 'stanzas'. This week we have been practicing and learning some poems ready to perform. We have loved using our expression and following the rhythm and rhyme! 

In Maths, we have been learning about time. This week we have learnt how to tell the time to o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. We found this tricky, but we didn't give up! 

In LMTW, we have started our new topic 'Zero to Hero'. This week we have learnt about Michael Jordan and how just like us, he didn't give up on his dream. We thought about what we found difficult. Charlotte said 'I find cartwheels diffiult'. Logan said 'I find writing a story difficult'. We then discussed how we could overcome these set backs to achieve our goals and dreams.
