Swale News
Welcome to our new class blog!
We have had a busy week in Swale.
In English, we have been writing our final versions of our story on Blue John and focusing on alliteration and using inverted commas for speech.
We had a fantastic PE lesson on Thursday where we were exploring the skills needed in Orienteering. We had to work as a team to solve clues and find points around our school field. Matthew said it was a lot of fun and Lily said it was nice to work as a team with her classmates.
We have now started our Christmas Production rehearsals in the church and have been trying on our costumes. Letters will be coming home about costumes today. It is all starting to come together very nicely!
In Learning Means the World we have been learning about democracy and looking at examples of leaders, locally and nationally. We have been writing our own Manifesto about a change we want to happen in church. We will be pitching these to Aire later today and holding our own election.
Because of our play rehearsals, next week our PE days will be Tuesday and Thursday. We are all very excited about Elf Day next Friday and our author visit on Thursday.
