Wensley's Blog Post

Here is our class blog for Wensley. We hope you enjoy reading about all the things we have been busy doing.

Please have a look at our Learning Means the World classroom display.  We have all really enjoyed making the class timeline about all the countries invaded by the Romans over time. We got into groups and researched different countries and designed a poster that included the flag, the year they were invaded and facts and pictures that represented the country. 'I loved researching on the chromebook and drawing pictures of Egypt. Did you know they were invaded by Rome in 30BCE?' said Grace.

We have really been challenging ourselves in Maths this week. We have been learning all about fractions and changing mixed numbers to improper fractions. Anna said 'I enjoyed working with fractions and learning new skills to help me with my work. It was a little difficult at some points, but I am feeling positive now.'

We have started a new Guided Reading book called, 'When We Were Warriors' by Emma Carroll. Leo was fascinated by how this links to another story and his previous learning about WW2.
