Litton Class Blog!
We have really enjoyed celebrating VE Day today with a lunch outside and an afternoon making presentations all about this important event and its significance in British history.
This week we have been so busy with our Maths and English learning - making sure we are ready for next week and our SATS tests. Lots of children were absolutely thrilled with their arithmetic scores today and Nana said he couldn't believe how well he'd done! We can believe it Nana! We have had a week looking at telling the time and using calendars in maths.
In English, we have been looking at poetry and have enjoyed the different type of language used. Lots of children have had some important questions about next week. Tilly asked what time they could come to school from -children can come in at 8.20am. Ella Mai asked if she could bring a note pad in to the tests - no notepads or planners will be allowed on children's tables; we will provide equipment for them. Mina asked the most important question - what type of yogurts will be served at breakfast? Aldi's finest! A range of fruit, pastries and yogurts will be served with some juice. We look forward to welcoming all the children to school on Monday!
