Wensley Class Blog

Welcome to a very busy week in Wensley!
In English, we have been reading more of Varjak Paw. We have learnt that Varjak has met a gang of wild cats and it hasn't ended well! The gang leader is called 'Sally Bone'. Anna said, "I am looking forward to seeing what Varjak is going to do next to avoid them."
In Maths, we have been learning about angles. Grace said, "It was tricky at the start, but it got much easier as we went on." Also in Maths this week we have been learning how to use a protractor. Trying to measure the angle accurately has been quite difficult but we are certainly getting better.
In Learning Means the World we have been learning about nurdles. If you are not sure what they are, then please ask your child - they are nurdle experts! We have been researching the causes of air pollution and looking at air quality in Ripon. We have produced some fantastic Google slides with animations and transitions that discuss how we can reduce air pollution.
