What a week in Wharfe!

Another busy week as we throw ourselves into production rehearsal. We are challenging ourselves to be off script for next week.  Props and stagecrew are busy making our settings and it's slowly beginning to come together. We were lucky we could have Year 2 listen to us sing a song today!

In English, we have started a new book, Kensuke's Kingdom. We have just started reading the book and exploring the vocabulary used.

In Maths, we are working on translating shapes across four quadrants and plotting the coordinates in the correct place.

In RE, we have started our new topic all about pilgrimages and have begun to understand the importance and meaning behind why people go on religious pilgrimages.

On Wednesday, our class were able to enjoy an afternoon session of GaGa Ball as a reward for their 100% attendance before half-term. It was very warm and very sweaty!

We are also back to the Karate Dojo for another Karate session. Victoria said that although she was nervous to begin with, she really enjoyed the session. Alex said that it was really fun and that he couldn't wait to go back. Layla said it was great to try something new.
