Esk News!

We are looking forward to our trip to Ripon Cathedral on Tuesday 24th June.
Please could each child bring one of the following items to take with us:
- A foil container
- An empty plastic bottle
- A cardboard tube
- A paper cup
Children will also need to bring a packed lunch.
In English, we created our own quest stories. Our characters had their own magical objects that helped them to complete their quest.
In Learning Means the World we learnt about the different types of teeth. An animal's teeth depend on their diet. Carnivores have sharp incisors and canines to rip meat. Herbivores have wide bumpy teeth to grind plants.
In RE we learnt about the Hindu festival of light - Diwali. This festival is celebrated all over the world and this year will commence on October 31st and last for 5 days. People spring-clean, buy new clothes, light candles and watch fireworks over the festive period.
In PE, we continued practising for Sports Day! We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
