In English, we have continued to use the Paper Bag Prince and have been learning to use prepositions for time and place. Along with this, we have been learning how to reorder verbs, nouns and adverbials in sentences so we can make our writing more interesting and avoid repetition.

This week in DT we have been making Snowballs! These are a mixture of butter, oats, sugar and cocoa combined to make a delicious treat. The children really enjoyed this, and, on the whole, didn't eat too many of the ingredients before they were finished!

All this week we have been taking part in Sports School Week 2025. Each day every pupil is challenged to spend a minute attempting a physical challenge. These include how many star jumps, steps in and out of hoops and slalom circuits in a minute. Aire class really rose to the challenges and showed a real competitive streak!
