This week, our current English work based on ‘Our Planet’ has been really successful - the children have shown amazing progress! Lennon explained, 'I am enjoying writing the final piece of writing in English because it is one of the first pieces of work that we have done that we can set our the layout ourselves.' It has been very popular in Ribble. Daisy also explained that she enjoyed planning her information text because it allowed her to be creative. We have all written detailed plans for our information text as we know that this helps us produce our best writing!

As well as a lot of English, Ribble have completed some assessments this week. The class have all shown great resilience towards this, and it has been lovely to see their hard work pay off!

We have continued to make our board games this Thursday. Peggy explained that she is working with Alex, and they are thoroughly enjoying teaming up and creating a wonderful board game! We are also very excited to have the opportunity to play the games with the Year 3s (hopefully next week)!

In PSHE, we have looked at some basic first aid! We all agreed that this is a very important part of our PSHE learning because we think that it is a valuable skill for us to have in our lives, even at a young age. As a class, we read some scenarios, and discussed how we would approach these in a sensible and helpful way.
