This week we had a really exciting event. We held a colour run on the school field. Honor said she had lots of fun running around the track and getting covered in poster-paint colours. Wren says she was covered in powder paint at the end! Amias liked all the different colours and Lily enjoyed her ice-cream after running round five times!

We had a great time visiting Ripon Library as a class. Charlie found the biggest book he had ever seen and Nola found a book that was in German. In the end, everyone got to borrow a book and take it home. Finn was very excited to get the final book in a series he has been reading at home.

In English, we have begun to look at the story of Cinderella and will be looking at a version of the story called Cinderella of the Nile. Hannah enjoyed re-writing the story of Cinderella and arranging the storyboard pictures. Esk class were surprised to discover that there are lots of different versions of Cinderella, including one from China which is over 1000 years old!
