Wensley's Class Blog

Vector Graphics and Unusual Sandwiches!
We've had a fun and hard working week in Wensley!
In maths, we have been rounding numbers up to 1,000,000. We have taken a little extra time to really try to master this, and the class have been working extremely hard to do so. Well done everybody for your efforts.
In English, we have moved to our Independent Writes. We have been writing introductions, kit lists, instructions and top tips. First, the class made 'Bum Sandwiches'; sandwiches that are covered in cling film and sat on before eating! The class very much enjoyed the activity, and adding crisps was definitely popular! Key grammar focuses include the use of informal language, imperative verbs, adverbials of time and parentheses.
In Learning Means The World, we've mostly had a computing focus. We leaned the difference between raster and vector graphics. Then, we used a free vector graphic package to create our own space-themed vector graphic images. This was challenging as well, but the class were fantastically motivated, and some wonderful pieces of work are in the process of being created. Thank you to Liv for the work shown above.
Have a lovely weekend!
