It's hard to believe we are in December already! 

We have started our new book called Fantastically Great Women who Changed the World. This is a non-fiction book full of different biographies. We have focussed on the features of a biography, how they are different to autobiographies and why biographies are written. We have started to explore some of the biographies of Rosa Parks, Agent Fifi, Frida Kahlo, Gertrude Ederle, Mary Anning and Sacagawea. We have looked at how we can create a biography in chronological order and how using a visual pathway helps to map out the best way to read the information.

In Maths, we are finishing up our topic on multiplication and division. We have even been multiplying 3 numbers together and the best strategies to use when doing so. Times tables remain a big focus for us so we are constantly practising! 

The rehearsals are well underway with our performance next week. You should have received an email and letter about costumes, but I have included it below. Please bring any costumes in a named bag by the end of this week.

Narrators: Festive jumpers and black/grey trousers or school uniform.
Shepherds: Any small sheep cuddly toys. Grey/black trousers and black/grey top
Sheep: Black leggings/trousers and white t-shirt.
Donkey: Black leggings/trousers and black t-shirt.
Cow: Black leggings/trousers and black t-shirt.
Angels: Sparkly or white leggings and white socks.
Wise People: Grey/black trousers or leggings.
Towns people/Inn Keepers/Visitors: Grey/black trousers, brown, grey or black t-
shirt/polo shirt and tea towel to wear on their head.
Mary: Black trousers/ leggings
Joseph: Grey/black trousers
Backstage/Tech: Festive jumpers and black trousers or school uniform.
Star: white T-shirt and white shorts or leggings

On the evening of the performance, we will be getting ready at the Church.
Y4 Please drop your children at Holy Trinity Church at 5.00pm so that we can have a
prompt 5.30pm start.
Y3 Please drop your children at Holy Trinity Church at 5.15pm so that we can have a
prompt 5.30pm start.
