In English, we have been using a range of conjunctions to join two clauses together. We carefully selected the conjunction, making sure our sentences made sense. We then planned our own version, Mrs Armitage on wheels, which we are excited to write next week.

In Maths, we have continued to learn about shapes. We have been counting sides and vertices on a range of 2D shapes. 

In Art with Mrs Needham, we created the backdrop for our nativity. We used paint to create a stable scene including hay and sheep!

In RE, we learnt about the Advent Wreath. We labelled the five candles and learnt what they signify.

In Science, we learnt about push and pull forces. We created a list of the everyday things that we do that require a push or pull force. 

Christmas

We are busy practising for our Christmas Play! You will have received an email from school listing the clothing needed for the play. Please could these items be brought into school in a named carrier bag ASAP. If you have any questions or queries about this, please let me know.
