Swale News

What a fantastically festive week we have had in Swale!
We were lucky enough to watch the KS1 Nativity, which was a wonderful retelling of the First Christmas. It reminded us of the Christmas story and really helped us to get into the festive spirit. Annalise and Jennifer thought the songs were brilliant and really festive.
In maths, we have been consolidating our multiplication skills and challenging ourselves to improve our times tables. Everyone worked extremely hard and showed great determination. Bethany shared with the class how much TTRockstars is helping her with her speed!
In English, we completed a biography of Emmeline Pankhurst. We focused carefully on using fronted adverbials and time conjunctions to make our writing clear and interesting, and the results were fantastic. Savannah found the topic very interesting.
We also enjoyed a very fun Christmas party! There was tinsel limbo, musical statues and bingo, followed by a whole year group sing-along to end the excitement in style.
