In Maths, we have started to explore shape. The children did a great job at sorting 3D shapes and explaining why they had placed the shape in that group. 

Our Learning Means the World Topic this half-term is called 'Come fly with me: Arctic Circle'. On our learning journey we will explore the Arctic Circle, animal habitats as well as the climate and weather. 

We started our learning this week by trying to keep our ice cubes frozen. We wrapped them in different materials to see which one would be best. We then linked this to Global Warming and discussed how the Earth has a warm blanket around it to keep us all warm. However, this is getting thicker, which is causing problems in the Arctic. 

In PE this half-term we are exploring the topics of Gymnastics and Send and Return.
