This week we were really lucky to have a visitor from All Stars Cricket. They ran a fantastic taster session, introducing the children to batting and fielding skills. All the class got involved and really enjoyed themselves. Aaliyah said she really liked hitting th ball as hard as she could. Finn liked playing the game and seeing how many runs his team could get.

Art this week has, of course, been Easter themed. The children have begun to make their Easter cards. Nola enjoyed using paint and Ellie liked the fact they were using their thumbs to paint with!

There has been a fucus on grammar in our English lessons this week as we lead up to writing our very own quest story. One of the lessons concentrated on writing using inverted commas for speech. The children, well, most of them, had a great time learning a song all about how to write speech. Lilly liked the learning, especially because there was a funny song. Ophelia enjoyed writing speech for the main character, Arthur.

We had the last swimming session this week and finished with a play session! Leo thought it was like having a pool party and had a great time. Jennifer thought it was lots of fun to have all the floats out and balls to throw at each other!
