English: Little Red Riding Hood and How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth - Children will create their own version of the fairytale and then write their own step-by-step instructional guides.

Phonics: Pupils will continue building their reading confidence by mastering key letter-sound relationships and applying their blending and segmenting skills to read and spell new words.

Maths: Place Value, Addition and Subtraction - Children will strengthen their core mathematical foundations by deepening their understanding of place value before applying these skills to addition and subtraction.

Science: Animal Needs for Survival and Humans - Children will investigate what mammals, birds, amphibians, fish, reptiles and humans need to survive and stay healthy, while learning how to classify different living things.

RE: What is the Good News that Jesus brings? - Children will examine key Christian stories and teachings on kindness, peace, and friendship.

History: How was school different in the past? - Pupils will compare modern classrooms to schools within living memory to decide whether they would prefer to be a student in the past or present.

Computing: IT Around Us - Pupils will discover the role of technology in our school environment while building essential knowledge around online safety and maintaining a healthy "digital diet."

PSHE: Being Me in my World - Pupils will discuss their hopes, rights, and responsibilities while co-creating a class charter to practice being supportive team members.

Art: Understanding Tone and Texture - Young artists will experiment with drawing techniques, tonal shading and textures before applying their skills to detailed observational drawings.

PE: Gymnastics and Running, Throwing, Jumping - Pupils will develop their core movement, balance, and coordination through gymnastics and mastering fundamental athletics skills in run, throw and jump.

Music: Call and Response Animals - Pupils will explore structure and dynamic vocal techniques using animal sounds, rhythms, and songs to copy and perform musical patterns.
