We have successfully launched this year's Zone Rangers! 

We use Zone Rangers during lunch time as they transform our playground into more organized and inclusive spaces by establishing distinct zones of play.  Our zones of play ensures that pupils with varied interests and energy levels can find an appropriate and safe place to play. It reduces conflicts over space and equipment, as the Zone Rangers help enforce the rules and facilitate positive interactions within their designated area, leading to a smoother, more enjoyable, and ultimately safer break times for all.

As the playground is used from Year 1 to Year 6, we have ensured that all children will be able to play safely and explore the different areas of the playground.  Our Zone Rangers are assigned to specific areas. We have a throwing and catching zone, an art zone, chill and chat zone, building block zone and skipping and balance zone.

Throughout the year, the zones will change according to feedback from pupils and to allow a range of activities to be experienced.
