In Maths we have started a new topic, fractions. We have been looking closely at the numerators and denominators, and compared them using <, > and =. 

Did you know that 1/10, 1/7 and 1/9 are all unit fractions? 2/3, 5/7 and 7/8 are all non-unit fractions.

In English we started a new text 'A Walk in London'. We enjoyed going on a virtual trip around the city. 

Darcy enjoyed looking at the different animals in London Zoo.

Bethany was amazed by the Royal Albert Hall.

Troy found the Adelphi Theatre where he saw Back to the Future.

Scarlett liked seeing Buckingham Palace. 

In Guided Reading we have been looking at a new text, Amazing Animal Journeys. We found out that the author, Chris Packham, is a naturalist, someone who studies the natural world.
