This week, we have been working really hard on our Autumn assessment tests. We have shown our ability to concentrate and be resilient while trying our best in our work. Hannah says she has enjoyed the reading paper and found the text interesting.

We have, however, had plenty of time for other fun activities and learning. We took part in an online poetry masterclass where we had to write a poem about not being able to write a poem, so we wrote a poem about not being able to write a poem! Nola found the poem writing fun because we didn't know how to write a poem about a poem until we did!

As part of our learning about Ancient Greece, we have been learning about Athens and Sparta, how they had quite different cultures and why this was. In Art, we have begun to make Greek pottery out of clay. Next week we will be painting them using Greek-style designs we have already drawn. Mason enjoyed the designing phase and then actually making the pot out of clay.
