We have started to explore myths from around the world in our new English text, 'Myth Atlas'. We looked at a range of mythical creatures and characters and made predictions about them. Were they heros or villains? What might have happened to them? We then looked at the famous myth of Maui, which lots of us recognised from the film 'Moana'.

In Maths we have continued our work on Addition and Subtraction, using simple number facts and partitioning to find quick ways to add 1s or 10s to a number up to 1,000. We also tackled some really challenging word problems, where we needed to break the question down into small steps and solve one part at a time.

In RE, we attempted to make our way through a maze set up in the classroom...blindfolded! This was a tricky task! We then tried it again, this time being led by aa guide, using words and actions to help us through safely. We talked about how the Bible is a guide for Christians and how God's words help to steer us safely through life, making the right choices and taking the right path.
