This week in Nidd

What a festive week!
This week saw Nidd class take part in the Year 3 and 4 Christmas performance. We have had a great time practising the songs over the last few weeks, and it was great to finally perform them, on stage, to a real audience. All of Nidd class were excellent and really did their best remembering the words and the dances. It was wonderful to see so many of our parents and families in church. We hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed performing it.
We finished our Greek pots with Ms Needham this week. The final finishing touches of gold have been applied and are currently drying. We can't wait to bring them home to show you and put them on display! Everyone in the class has done such a fantastic job, modelling and painting their pots.
We will be finishing our final part of our writing about Mog and her calamitous Christmas. We have been learning how to include adverbs, adjectives and determiners in our writing and have been practising these so that we can include lots of fantastic description and grammar into our final writing. On Thursday we pooled our ideas to create a class shared write.
What an amazing end to the week with our Christmas craft afternoon. Thank you to all parents who came to join in for an afternoon of messy fun!
