This week we have been learning all about money in our Maths lessons. We have converted, compared and estimated. We have learnt about the different denominations and how to make calculations using money. Liam commented that he had really enjoyed this learning because he didn't know much about money, so it was new learning for him.

In English, we have now taken inspiration from The Paper Bag Prince and begun to plan our own story, set in the same location, the town dump. We have used a story mountain, using an introduction, build-up, problem, solution and finally an ending to help give our stories good structure. Jess  enjoyed the planning because it meant she could change the story to how she wanted it to be.

In PE, we have been continuing with cricket and lots of Sports Day practice! We have been learning how to bowl overarm and thinking about a windmill action to help us. Aryan has really enjoyed both the batting we have done and learning to bowl. Zara enjoyed it because she was learning a new skill. Ben enjoyed learning and using the windmill arm action to bowl.
