In English, we have continued to look at non-chronological reports and have been finding facts about polar bears! Did you know that a polar bear has a blue tongue and paws the size of dinner plates? Did you know that they have black skin and translucent fur which reflects the sunlight and makes it looks white? Ava D said that she 'likes learning about the different types of funny penguins and learning about polar bear cubs.'

In Maths, we have been continuing looking at place value and have been estimating on a number line up to 10,000 and partitioning numbers to 10,000. Ava S said that she enjoys partitioning numbers using a part whole model.' 

In RE, we have been looking at Noah and the Ark and exploring the qualities Noah would have had. It has been great fun looking up different passages in the Bible.  

We have all logged in to Reading Plus now and have begun to familiarise ourselves with the layout and the learning. Connie said that ' I like doing lots of reading and it's great to be able to use the computer to read on.'
