In English, we are learning about expanded noun phrases and have learnt that we need a comma between two adjectives after the determiner. We have gathered lots of adjectives to describe the forest and Jub's home and tree and created expanded noun phrases. We are really enjoying our 'Lost Happy Endings' book.  Teddy said, 'I like using expanded noun phrases because it's two adjectives together and it makes my writing more interesting.'

In Maths, we are learning about column method for addition. We have been adding 4 digit numbers with more than one exchange. Darcie said, 'it's a bit tricky because you have to see how many you need to exchange.' Scarlett-Anne said, ' I enjoyed Maths this week because it is easy but getting harder.'

In Learning Means the World, we have been looking at open and closed switches. Scarlett said, 'I have been finding it quite fun learning about lightbulbs and switches and found it really interesting.'

We really enjoyed our PE lesson doing tag rugby and getting very muddy. It was so much fun running around and Mr Banks was a great teacher.

We also went to the library this week and we all were able to take a library book home. Sebastian said 'I had a great day and it was the first time I had ever been to the library.' Evie-May said, 'it was very fun when we got to choose the books.' Scarlett said, 'it was great to get a new book out that I hadn't read before.'
