Aire Blog

This week, Aire went to the library. Ava S said 'it was fun, and we got to choose a book. I chose Dexter Proctor, the 10-year-old doctor.' Scarlett-Anne enjoyed the library because 'we got given some bookmarks and rubbers and were able to make our own bookmarks.' Darcie said, 'I think it was really fun because we all enjoyed it and we all got to pick out a fun book that they all liked.' Alice said 'I thought it was fantastic because I like to see everyone enjoying themselves.'

In Guided Reading, we are starting the Julian Stories. Mrs Sanderson loves the Julian Stories and gave us a sneak peek on what was happening on the front cover as we made our predictions.

In PE, we have started orienteering in PE. We had to hide a cone and mark it on a map and another team had to go and find it but only if it was marked properly on the map! Morris said, 'it was good' and Jasper said, 'I liked it because I got to be a pirate and hide treasure.' Aylar said 'I liked seeing everyone having smiles on their faces.'

We have had assessment week all week in which the whole class has really shown resilience and perseverance. We have balanced the assessments with enjoying afternoons full of Learning Means the World and British Science Week.

We also voted for our class reward for filling the gems in the jar. The majority vote was for getting the apparatus out, and we are excited about using it next week.
