A fantastic last week of term!
This week in English, we completed two exciting Marvin and Milo experiments. First, we inflated a balloon using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar! We carefully wrote up the steps using imperative verbs and time adverbials. Kya said it was interesting to carry out the experiment and watch the amazing reactions happen.
After that, the children wrote up their own “Magic Milk” experiment. Troy said it was fun following the instructions and seeing what happened because the result was unexpected!
In Maths, we have completed our unit on multiplication and division. After lots of perseverance, we have done fantastically well with division. Hannah said that once she understood it, division is actually a lot of fun!
In RE, we finished our unit on Sikhism by reflecting on Sikh values and how they can make a positive difference in the world. Charlotte said she enjoyed learning about the Sikh Langar and the importance of sharing food with everyone.
In PE, we have continued to develop our football and netball skills. James especially enjoyed being the goalkeeper!
In Learning Means the World, we have been learning about the people who worked hard to abolish slavery and the impact they had on history.
