Our Class Blog from Ouse!

What an awesome week in Ouse Class!

In English we started a new book, 'How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth'. We created some actions for the different instructions and ordered them.

In Maths we have been counting in 3s. We learnt a new rolling numbers song to help us remember the three times-table.

In Learing Means the World we have been musicians this week. We have been looking at a range of ringtones. On Thursday Mrs Trigg played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the piano. We used a metal glockenspiel with a plastic beater to copy the music of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.

In RE we created our own prayers about Jesus' good news – friendship, peace and forgiveness.

We all enjoyed our Harvest Festival on Thursday and want to thank families for their donations.

This week your child has brought home a homework book consisting of a pyramid of activities to choose from. These activities can be completed in any order and the book can be used to evidence their learning. Your child can bring the book back by the end of half-term.
