In English we have created our own versions of No-Bot. We carefully composed our sentences remembering to include capital letters and full stops.
In Maths we have been subtracting two 2-digit numbers across a 10. We used base 10 to exchange a ten for ten ones.
In Learning Means the World we have been using compasses. We noticed that the compass has four points – North, East, South and West. We enjoyed following a range of instructions around the playground, using the compass to ensure we were going in the right direction.

In RE we started our new unit, 'Why does Christmas matter?' We learnt about the story of Jesus' birth and sequenced it. We were excited to spot our characters from our Christmas play in the story.
In PE we started our new dance unit. We performed a range of movements in unison while Miss Beswick read aloud the story of Penguin Small. We used a range of facial expressions and poses to get into character!
