Ouse's News!

We have had another busy week in Year 2! This week we have completed our Autumn assessments.

In Science, we learnt about rockpools. We discussed the animals that live in the microhabitat and how they are adapted in order to survive. We learnt that some animals have suckers so they can stick to the rocks. Lots of animals in rockpools are camouflaged, meaning they blend into the environment. This protects them from predators.

In Learning Means the World we have been learning about digital footprints. We discussed what is safe and unsafe to share online. We then went on Scratch, a visual block-based programming software. We created an algorithm to make our sprite move.

Christmas

We are busy practising for our Christmas Play! You will have received an email from school listing the clothing needed for the play. Please could these items be brought into school in a named carrier bag by Friday 5th December. If you have any questions or queries with this, please let me know.
