Litton Class Blog

It's hot, hot, hot here in Litton Class this week, so we've been trying to find shade at every opportunity in between all our hard work!

In English, we have been loving reading more of Kensuke's Kingdom. We're gripped as the main character, Michael has been thrown overboard and left stranded on a deserted island, separated from his family.

In Maths we have been using isometric paper to create a 'gnome home village'. We had to come up with 15 different ways of arranging 4 cubes to make a range of buildings before drawing these using isometric paper and designing a town using a range of different styles of building! The end results have been fabulous.

In PE, we have been doing athletics and lots of practising for sports day (which will now be held next Friday at 1.15pm). Our rehearsals for the show are going so well - the children sound fabulous and staff have already had a few tears at some of the songs! We cannot wait to show you soon!
