📚 Practice SATs Week Success!

This week, the children showed incredible maturity and focus during our practice SATs papers. We have been so genuinely impressed with their fantastic attitudes and the way they've managed to showcase all the learning they have accumulated over the past few months.

A massive well done, Year 6! Your hard work and resilience are truly shining through.

🖋️ Poetry Masterclass Marvels

On Monday, we had a fantastic creative experience! We took part in a live Masterclass Recording featuring the brilliant poets, Laura Mucha and Zohab Zee Khan.

Inspired by the session, the children created some truly super poetry that they should be incredibly proud of.

⚽ PE & Teamwork Triumphs

In PE this week, we've been working with Mr. Banks on a range of Team Games. He has been super impressed with how well the class has demonstrated excellent communication and cooperation.

Year 6, your teamwork has been top-notch! Keep up the brilliant effort in supporting one another.

💡 Science Spot: Light Wonders

Our focus in Science has been on the fascinating world of light, specifically looking at reflection and refraction. The children demonstrated their understanding by creating some truly super diagrams to explain how light behaves. From mirrors to prisms, we've been uncovering the science behind how we see the world!

🎄 Get Ready for Christmas!

It won't be long until Christmas is here, and we are so excited for all the upcoming events to celebrate! Please put these dates in your diary:

• 📅 Friday, December 5th: Year 6 leads Elf Day!
  • Year 6 will be leading the whole school in this festive, fun-filled day.
• ✂️ Afternoon of December 12th: Christmas Craft Afternoon
  • We warmly invite you to join your child in the classroom for an afternoon of festive fun and crafting. More details will follow, but please save the date!
• 🎉 Thursday, December 18th: Y6 Christmas Party!
  • Children can come to school dressed in their dancing clothes, ready for an afternoon of festive music, games, and fun to celebrate a fantastic term!
