Litton Class Blog!

What a busy week in Litton Class!

🖋️ English: Brilliant Biographies We have been putting on our author hats in English! We spent time carefully editing our biographies, focusing on choosing the right vocabulary and sentence structures to make them as informative and interesting as possible for our readers. The improvements have been brilliant!

📐 Maths: Angle Investigators In Maths, we have been working hard on our geometry skills. We have learnt how to calculate missing angles on a straight line and investigated the rules for angles within a triangle. Everyone showed great perseverance with their problem-solving.

🌍 Learning Means the World: Climate Comparisons Our Learning Means the World topic took us across the globe! We looked closely at the climates of Ethiopia and Bangladesh. After researching, we compared and contrasted the two very different environments and presented all of our fantastic learning in beautiful double-page spreads.

RE: Important Days in the Christian Calendar In RE, we explored the events of Holy Week. We looked specifically at Good Friday and Easter Sunday, taking the time to compare these two incredibly important days within the Christian calendar and discussing their different meanings and emotions.

🏏 PE & Rewards: Cricket and Climbing! We had an absolutely great PE session recently with Cricket All Stars—thank you to the coaches for such a fun time! On top of that, we finally got to enjoy our well-earned reward for filling up our gem jar a couple of weeks ago. We loved getting the apparatus out and having a fantastic time celebrating our good choices.
