📚 A Fabulous Trip to Ripon Library!

On a more relaxing note, we had a truly fabulous visit to Ripon Library! It was wonderful to explore such a fantastic building filled with so many books and resources. We learned about how the library works and got to spend time browsing and choosing books. It's a wonderful place to visit, and we hope you feel inspired to keep reading lots of amazing books at home! A huge thank you to all the library staff for making us feel so welcome.

💡 Science Corner: Let There Be Light!

This week in Science, we've become experts on light! We've been exploring how light travels – remember, it always goes in straight lines! We also discovered the amazing secret hidden inside white light: it's made up of seven different colours!

We've learnt all about how we see the beautiful phenomenon of a rainbow, and investigated two key concepts:

• Refraction: How light bends when it moves from one material to another (like from air to water).
• Reflection: How light bounces off surfaces.

⚽ PE: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!

In PE, we've really been focusing on working together and improving our teamwork skills. We've taken part in different activities designed to help us communicate better, listen to each other, and support our teammates. Great teamwork is essential for success, both in sports and in the classroom! You've shown excellent collaboration skills this week.
