The Ribble Report

It’s been an incredibly busy and successful week.

In Learning Means the World, the children had a tremendous time creating their Roman villas. On numerous occasions, Noah and Max have been eager to squeeze an extra five minutes to improve their work! The children's creations are amazing and it was amazing to see children shine with this creative task.

Maths was challenging with subtracting fractions, but we showed fantastic effort and resilience to master this tricky skill. We also completed an arithmetic paper on Wednesday afternoon to help improve the children's fluency - it was wonderful to see the children feel more confident already.

In Guided Reading, we've been absorbed in the mystery of The Viewer. We have focused closely on understanding tricky word definitions (like illuminate and intriguing) and using evidence from the text to make strong predictions about the character's journey.

Looking ahead, we are all looking forward to some fantastic Christmas crafts tomorrow afternoon.

Keep up the brilliant work!
