The Ribble Report

This week the sun has started to shine, and it has been lovely to see the joy it has brought!
This week we have been busy doing some of our spring assessments. Everyone has stayed positive and worked incredibly hard. I am very proud of how focused you have all been! However, we have also made sure to have lots of fun in between too.
Thursday was World Book Day. It was wonderful to celebrate it together - we had so much fun sharing our favourite stories, dressing up and getting to read with different teachers from across the school. It was great to hear so many different voices bringing our favourite books to life!
We have also been having some amazing sports happening. Our Year 5 cross country runners were absolutely fantastic this week—well done for showing such great determination! It has also been lovely to get back outside for our Trinity Trots. Now that the weather has picked up, and the sun is shining a bit more, it has been the perfect way to give the children a boost in the afternoon. Our PE lesson have been great too. We did a lovely netball lesson on Monday which was filled with new skills along with a creative, fun lesson on Wednesday with Mr Banks!
Please look at just a select few of the amazing outfits from World Book Day shown in the images below.
