Spa Class Blog

Welcome to our Spa Class Blog.

In English we have read the story ‘Peepo!’. The children joined in with the ‘peek-a-boo’ action, as well as the catchphrase in the book, “Peepo!”. We talked about what the baby might see on their travels – Theo suggested “some ducks”, Daisy thought of “squishy frogs” and Noah thought they might see “another baby.". We also thought about what we might see if we “Peepo” on a walk. Sophie, Rosie and Theo also brought books in to share with the class. It is fantastic to share such a love of reading!

In Maths, we enjoyed singing and doing actions for 1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive. We have also started to explore colour, looking at what’s in the box and naming the colour of the object.

In Learning Means the World, the children drew pictures of their families and labelled them. We read “The New Baby” and then talked about who was in our families. Everyone has been working very hard on their listening skills, and Spa Bear enjoyed being part of circle time when everyone shared their feelings. We enjoyed celebrating our first birthday as a class, singing happy birthday and making birthday crowns!
