Wensley Class Blog

Welcome to another wonderful week in Wensley!
In English this week, we have been looking at building fantastic sentences using noun phrases, prepositions and exciting verbs. I have been delighted with the amazing sentences that the children have written. They are very proud of their writing too. Roseanne loved writing hers and sharing them with the class. She said, "I am amazed at how good my sentences sounded when I read them to the class. They were unique and special."
In Maths, we have been looking at angles and learning what makes an acute, obtuse and reflex angle. This was not as easy as we all thought, but we are making good progress!
In Learning Means the World we have started a new topic all about conservation called Global Warning. We have been looking into pollution and how humans can cause pollution. Scarlett and Anna have been doing a litter pick on the field to try and make our local area clean and tidy. Thank you girls!
We have all enjoyed celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE day today in school. We loved eating our VE day buffet lunch outside together and waving our flags. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make all the delicious food and organise everything so that we could all celebrate together!
Jacob said, "The VE day cakes were so good! It was great eating outside too!"
