This week in Ribble, we have been having so much fun!

In art, we made some sculptures out of clay. Gabe said that it was very messy but it was a lot of fun.

In maths, we have been looking at lots of different types of numbers, including cube numbers (which were very difficult but still interesting). Hansel and Gretel is becoming even more intriguing and we have created a class story board for our display - it looks really impressive! We have also been practising contrasting adjectives and learning about relative clauses to improve our writing.

On Thursday, we did some competitions in PE to practice our dribbling in hockey. Skye is finding hockey very enjoyable. She says she is improving a lot.

In RE, we have been looking at love and what this means to us. We created some great poems and designed some hearts in the style of Jim Dine. They look brilliant!

Paige is particularly enjoying using instruments in LMTW to create the sound of a war field which is very loud... but also rather effective!

We even managed to fill our jar of gems as a class, so we are ecstatic to enjoy the reward next week.
