This week saw us celebrating World Book Day - our last one in primary school!

Do you like how we dressed our door?

Mrs Gomes came dressed in flags! She told us how inspired she was as a child by world atlases and how she would spend hours looking at the pages and finding out about different countries. She brought an example to show us which we enjoyed looking at. We then wrote (inspired by the Dr. Seuss book, 'Oh the Places You'll Go') where we would like to go when we are older.

Jonathon wrote that he would like to visit China to experience the food, Keegan and Rubi chose the Maldives for the beautiful scenery, Violet was undecided between Australia and Greece as her dream destination and Olivia would like to go to France for the oceans, food and animals!

What a wonderful day we had celebrating all things books and sharing our passions and inspirational characters through our love of Non-Fiction texts.
