As part of Dementia Forward's ‘Don’t Keep Dementia Under Your Hat Day', we are encouraging all staff and pupils to wear a hat to raise awareness of the condition and the fantastic work that Dementia Forward do in supporting people with dementia and their loved ones.

Dementia Forward are an experienced and established local team supporting people with dementia and those who care for them through a range of services. They are keen to develop awareness-raising activities in every district of North Yorkshire and York. 

‘Don’t Keep Dementia Under Your Hat’ – is a day of encouraging open conversations about dementia, raising awareness and uniting communities!

As part of the day, Years 5 and 6 will participate in sessions delivered by experienced, trained members of the team.
