Pupils in Y1, and those in Y2 who didn't pass last year in Y1, will participate in the phonic screening check this week. The check is administered by class staff and is very familiar to the children. It contains 40 words which test the sounds the children have learnt through Reception and Y1. Please speak to class staff if you have any questions.
